Rittz dropped the expected visuals for the single with Mike Posner. The beat on the album version of the song sounds a bit more dynamic, which makes this version a bit too toned down in my opinion. Rittz’ Life And Times Of Jonny Valiant is easily one of the best projects out this year, so spend your money well and grab it here.
Rittz‘ Strange Music debut is out now. I’ve had it in rotation for a while and aside from a few tracks that I wasn’t really feeling, I’ve enjoyed no project more than this one so far in 2013. As expected from Rittz, he delivers a versatile project, with topics ranging from having fun to depression, from victory to struggle. There’s a video for Switch Lanes in the making, which could really make it a hit record. My favorite cut aside from the leaks can be streamed below (the last verse is my favorite off the album). This should be an album of the year contender. You can decide if you agree with me, as The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant is available on iTunes right now.

With Wrekonize‘s The War Within album coming soon, I think it’s time for the people who aren’t fully aware to get familiar. Most will know Wrekonize as a member of the incredibly dope group, ¡Mayday!, but he has been killing solo ‘freestyles’ for a while now. He also did battles, including a GT battle with NoCanDo, which I believe was my first encounter with Wrekonize. In 2011 both ¡Mayday! & Wrekonize as a solo artist signed to Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music label. One my favorite tracks is Don’t Stop The Music, which dropped in early 2010. Earlier this year it was featured on The Rooftops mixtape, which is a great introduction to Wrekonize, so I suggest you grab it here.
